Book description
My name is Rachel Price, and two months ago, I walked away from the perfect man. Sweet and funny, and so hot it should be illegal—we shared one magical night. No names. No strings. I never thought I’d see him again.
I was wrong. It turns out Mr. Perfect is the playboy grinder for the Jacksonville Rays, the NHL’s hottest new hockey team…and I’m his new physical therapist. Oh, and the jerk doesn’t even recognize me!
This fellowship is going to be the longest ten months of my life. Mr. Perfect Mistake will do anything to get back on my good side. Meanwhile, his best friend is the surly new equipment manager always riding my case. Worst of all, I’ve got an uncooperative goalie who thinks I can’t tell he’s hiding an injury!
This is my chance to prove myself, and I’m not risking it for anything. But with one unexpected night, one secret revealed, these men are ready to test all my limits. I can’t fall for a player…let alone three. But if love is a game, these guys are playing to win.

**PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS DISCUSSION QUESTION GUIDE MIGHT INCLUDE SPOILERS**
We’ve provided the Dirty Dozen below; twelve spicy and intriguing questions to spark discussion and help you uncover the spine-tingling depths of the story.
The Dirty Dozen
Foreplay – Warm Up Questions
1. What’s the overall spice level? 1 (Not Spicy) – 10 (Spiciest Thing I’ve Ever Read)?
2. How does the spice level compare to the other books we’ve read together?
3. Rachel is clearly obsessed with her outdoor space. Are you an outdoor patio perfectionist, a houseplant hoarder, or do you avoid nature like it personally wronged you?
The Spicy Bits – Gettin’ Down and Dirty with the Plot
4. Would you have climbed over the balcony to escape that awkward moment, or found a different (less dramatic) route out of the situation?
5. This is a slow burn with serious heat. Did the pacing of the romance work for you, or were you shouting “just kiss already!” every five pages?
6. “I think, at its heart, art is just supposed to make us feel something.” How do you define art? What kind of art moves you the most?
7. Rachel describes Ilmari as her “rock and her rest.” Which role do you think he plays most in her life and what does that say about their relationship?
8. Do you think the team would’ve accepted Jake and Caleb’s relationship without Rachel as a “buffer” or bridge? Would they have been open and supportive?
9. Rachel’s haunted by the idea that she’s the “worthless, talentless Price.” Are those fears still justified based on who she is now, or are they just old ghosts she hasn’t let go of?
10. “I broke the rules. We’re not supposed to let emotion cloud our judgment.” Do you think Rachel crossed a line in treating Ilmari, or was it justified by the circumstances?
11. You’re in a monogamous mood (just for a second): if you could only pick one of the Rays to keep, who’s it gonna be: Jake, Ilmari, or Caleb?
Aftercare – Final Thoughts
12. What part of Rachel’s journey—emotionally, professionally, or romantically—resonated with you most? What stuck with you after closing the book?
Bonus: What questions do you have for the author? If you could dog-ear a page with a question for the author, what would it be?
