Book description

Fall Too Well is a spicy, second chance, workplace romance between a single mom and a sexy, smitten, broody cowboy. Saddle up for this perfect Autumn read!

I should’ve married my childhood best friend, but I chose another man. Now I’m a single mom, back in my hometown trying to make ends meet, and he is my new boss…

The moment our eyes meet, I know I’m the last woman on earth Nash McCreedy wants to see. Now we’re forced to work together and face old memories I’ve avoided for years.

Everywhere I look, he’s there, and it doesn’t help that he’s the only man I’ve ever loved. I ignore him and the bubbling feelings for as long as I can, but fail.

Lines are crossed and we work on rebuilding our relationship and broken hearts. When I think we might actually have a chance at forever, my ex wreaks havoc on my life, sabotaging whatever he can. But Nash is there for me, saving me, something he does (f)all too well.

Grab a pumpkin spice latte, a warm fuzzy blanket, and make your way down to Cozy Creek! Each book in the collection is a complete stand alone with a happily ever after.

Fall Too Well book club discussion guide

**PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS DISCUSSION QUESTION GUIDE MIGHT INCLUDE SPOILERS**

We’ve provided the Dirty Dozen below; twelve spicy and intriguing questions to spark discussion and help you uncover the spine-tingling depths of the story.

The Dirty Dozen

Foreplay – Warm Up Questions

1. What’s the overall spice level? 1 (Not Spicy) – 10 (Spiciest Thing I’ve Ever Read)?

2. How does the spice level compare to the other books we’ve read together?

3. Fall gives Everly life. What season gives you life and do you think it changes depending on where you are emotionally or romantically?

The Spicy Bits – Gettin’ Down and Dirty with the Plot

4. Everly says fictional characters are often better than real people. Be honest, have you ever crushed harder on a book boyfriend/girlfriend than an actual human? Who’s ruined real people for you?

5. “Who knew good friendship and red lipstick could change a woman’s life?” What’s your personal confidence booster – something that makes you feel unstoppable (and maybe a little dangerous)?

6. When he avoided her “to not make things weird,” it clearly crushed her. Have you ever been brushed off under the guise of “protecting your feelings”? Did you buy that excuse or call bullshit?

7. If you found out someone you were falling for (Reed vs. Nash) was lying to you (or just not sharing the full truth) claiming it was to avoid messing things up, how would you react? Hurt? Turned on by the mystery? Or would you smile and move on like Everly did?

8. “I’m whiskey, you’re tea.” Do opposites really attract, or is that just the romance trope talking? Would you actually want someone so different from you, or does that sound like a headache waiting to happen?

9. “You and Willow are mine. Just as I’m yours.” Do you melt for possessive declarations like that or do they set off alarm bells? Where’s the line between sexy and controlling for you?

10. Everly said she couldn’t have their first time be on the bar. Where would your ideal “first time” with someone be if you could pick any place, no limits?

11. When Everly lashed out and accused him of being “just like them,” was that a believable emotional reaction or pure self-sabotage? Do you think she had a point, or was she just scared of getting hurt again?

Aftercare – Final Thoughts

12. “Time means nothing when it’s real.” Do you believe in that kind of timeless love, or do you think relationships need the right timing just as much as the right person?

Bonus: What questions do you have for the author? If you could dog-ear a page with a question for the author, what would it be?
